How to Apply

Admission Procedure

  • Admission staff at the International School of Western Australia will work with you to ensure the application process for your child is as hassle-free as possible.

  • As a first step, please provide a completed signed Application for Admission form together with a photograph of the student and the Application Fee.

  • Parents must also provide a complete official transcript of the student’s school record including the results of any standardised testing or other assessments. Parents should request an official transcript from each school attended in the last three years.

  • Students entering year 7-12 must submit two completed Student Evaluation Forms for year 7-12 from the school the student currently attends, from an administrator, a counselor, or a teacher who has known the student for at least one year.

  • Students entering years 1 to 6 must provide two completed Student Evaluation Forms for years 1 to 6 from the school they currently attend.

  • Students applying for admission to years 5 to 12 must submit a completed Student Questionnaire.

  • Students entering years 8 to 12 must demonstrate a proficiency in English. International students may be required to undertake formal testing prior to being considered for admission.

  • A personal interview and/or additional diagnostic testing may be requested. Additionally, further information may be requested from teachers, administrators, counselors and/or other specialists.
